The olive known as “Nocellara del Belice”, or alternatively as the “Castelvetrano Olive”, is a typical Sicilian olive – as designated by the “Protected Denomination of Origin” (P.D.O.) of the European Union. In Trapani, the Mediterranean’s marine breeze promotes a vigorous growth, producing robust olives. The Nocellara olives, with their rounded shape, are still all hand-picked, guaranteeing that the quality is never altered.
